Born in 2009 as a way to connect with fellow artists worldwide, ronenbekerman.com grew into a place the field came to share and learn. It gathers the main blog, in-depth tutorials and making-of breakdowns, case studies and workflows, a job board, a community showcase gallery with "Best of Week" features, a resources page, and a shop.

Since 2009, the creative challenges have been one of the community's defining traditions. What began with The GH House grew into a decade-long run of international competitions that pushed artists to step away from client work and make something for themselves, together. The format has always been distinctive: not a closed submission box but a work in progress, shared openly on the forums as it develops, with feedback flowing between competitors along the way. The finish line matters, but the process is the point.

Over the years the challenges have covered the full range of the craft, from the early GH House, HOVER, and CityLIFE rounds, through The Museum and The Vineyard, to the recurring "Tomorrow" series and the marquee CABINS and Converted editions. Between them they have drawn thousands of entries from hundreds of artists worldwide, helped launch careers, and produced some of the most talked-about images in architectural visualization.

Organised by Ronen Bekerman and Polytown Media, and backed over the years by leading names in the industry such as Autodesk, Adobe Substance, Enscape, and Chaos, the challenges have rewarded winners with software, content, and cash prizes. They remain a core part of the community here, and of where it is headed.

Launched on the blog's 8th birthday in 2017, The SpectRoom podcast extended the community into conversation — interviews and field notes from across architectural visualization.

Since 2009 it has been a fixture in architectural visualization: home to in-depth making-of articles, the community challenges that brought artists together, and contributions from leading studios worldwide. FeedSpot's #1 archviz blog over 16+ years, but its real standing comes from being independent, founder-driven, and unusually long-running.

The main blog has been largely dormant since late 2024, with social channels staying intermittently active. A rebuild is underway — refreshing the platform while keeping what made it matter.
